The
DESMA 969 series of horizontal injection molding machines allows the user a
broad range of possibilities to automate the production of molded rubber
parts. Automation equipment with brushing, spraying and cleaning modules as
well as grippers, knock out plates, robots and other peripheral equipment
can be mounted above the machine. Partially or fully automatic production of
moldings is made feasible even in case of difficult part geometries. This
has the advantage not only in saving labor costs, and in giving more
consistent parts, but also in increasing productivity through the reduction
of cycle times. DESMA produces the 969 series in standard sizes up to 700 metric tons (785 US
tons). Injection units are available in sizes up to 25,000 cm
for working with multi-cavity molds or for producing large-size moldings.
All of DESMA’s horizontal machines feature full hydraulic clamping units. |

machines of precision articles such as profile seals and
O-rings. An optimum result is possible due to the very high
specific surface pressure and due to injection pressures
amounting up to 2,800 bar. |
