MEET THE TRAINER - WALTER FRICK |
|
|
|
Walter
Frick recently began to handle our training programs and the response has
been overwhelming. Walter, a 30 year employee with DESMA, apprenticed with
DESMA Germany in the 1970's. His roots in rubber are deep and he possesses a
very strong knowledge of polymer processing - from Silicone to HNBR to butyl
compounds. After his apprenticeship, Walter was a Service Technician
responsible for the installation of many machines in North America and
worldwide. He is one of the few people in the industry that possesses such a
vast theoretical and practical knowledge of injection molding of rubber.
Over
the years, Walter worked his way up within the ranks of DESMA. Walter manages
the internal sales group of DESMA North America and is a key part of the
Management Team. To keep "current" in his knowledge of the subject,
and to also have the opportunity to work directly with customers in real world
conditions, Walter assumed this additional role in early 2008. |

Walter
is an accomplished speaker who and has presented to the rubber industry many
times throughout his carrier. Two years ago, Walter published a paper on Vacuum
in Rubber Injection Molding, which debunked several "myths" of
the use of vacuum. This basis of this paper is quite often used by many of our
customers as a solid reference for process set up.
Contact
Walter today to discuss your needs specific training needs. All programs
are designed to increase machine efficiency, reduced down time, optimize your
machine setup, reduced cycle times and provide your operators / support staff
a higher degree of operating knowledge.
Walters
programs are available on a first come - first serve basis.

|
During the classroom
phase of the training, Walter will guide the participants page by page
through our structured training manual; allowing them to ask questions and
make detailed notes.
These manuals are
ideal as a quick reference in the future. Following the classroom training,
the lessons learned are then reinforced with hands-on training at the machine,
showing you invaluable tips on maximizing your machine’s output.
Our classes can be
conducted at your facility using your equipment or in our North American
headquarters in
Hebron
,
KY.
